CinchCasting Your Reflections

Part of the teaching process (see image below) is reflecting on what worked, what you learned, and how you can change things up to make things better. To help foster that spirit of reflection you'll be completing 15 Podcast Reflections (see page 322 in your book).

So how do you record podcasts? We'll be using a tool called CinchCast.com to record audio reflections. I love cell phones - I love that there's more technology in those little guys than in all of Apollo 13. It's an MP3 player, movie theatre, web browser, video game arcade, text tool and oh yeah you can call people on it. I remember in the "olden days" having a cord phone in the kitchen where I could talk to people (this was before email folks and WAY before texting!). I'm happy that those days are over!!!

This week we're going to be podcasting using cell phones - a tool that you and many of your students will already own. It doesn't matter if students have the internet at home for them to use this tool (they can even use a land line if they don't have a cell phone). We're using a tool called Cinch and it's secure, fast, fun and pretty much amazing!
